Quality

A comprehensive set of policy documents ensures we exceed the statutory requirements for running a care service. They cover every aspect of how we operate and manage our business, including staffing and caring for our clients.

We define quality as an ongoing process of building and sustaining relationships by assessing, anticipating, and fulfilling stated and implied needs. This is embodied in everything we do.

Using our rigorous self-assessment system we audit all our policies and work practices at least annually. This ensures we maintain the standards we’ve set ourselves. The process allows us to correct any areas that aren’t conforming to these standards and to make sure any problems aren’t repeated.

In addition to our self-assessments we also receive regular inspections from the local offices of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) the industry standard watchdog. Their inspectors check we are operating as we should. Copies of the latest inspection reports can be consulted on request.

In our last CQC inspection, dated 17 March 2010, we maintained the maximum possible three star service rating. You can download this comprehensive report here or you can request a hardcopy if you prefer. Download CQC report

However, the most conclusive proof of our performance comes from our service users, their families, and other professional care providers. We are recommend by service commissioners at the NHS and local Social Services, and are proud to be on their accredited provider lists in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.

If you would like further detail of case studies or a copy of commendations or testimonials please let us know and we can forward these either by post or email.
